Our story begins here
Let’s create creativity together
In our workshops, children get to discover the joy of creating, exploring, and learning through practical and playful activities.
We combine art, architecture, design, and yoga to help children develop not only their skills, but also their imagination, focus, and self-esteem.
Our goal is to inspire curiosity, encourage collaboration, and create a safe environment where every child can feel proud of what they build — with their hands, thoughts, and hearts.
What is ArKoYo
ArKoYo is a series of creative workshops for children — a place where imagination meets form, and movement meets creation.
Here, children explore architecture, art, design, and yoga in a playful way, where ideas grow both in their minds and in the real world.
By building, drawing, painting, and moving, they learn to collaborate, think freely, and discover new ways to express themselves.
At ArKoYo, learning is not about right or wrong — but about daring to try, create, and believe in their own ideas.
Who we are
We are Ensi and Leila — two friends with a passion for creativity, education, and design.
With backgrounds in graphic design and architecture, we chose to combine our experience to create workshops where children can explore, imagine, and find new ways to think.
Together, we believe that every child has endless potential, and through art, architecture, and play, we can help unlock it.
There is something beautiful about letting imagination become real.
When you can create a new world from colors, shapes, and simple things — a world that feels both real and a little magical.
As a child, imagination was my closest friend. I could spend hours with colors, paper, and the little stories I made up myself. I always loved creating something new out of ordinary things.
At university, I studied mathematics because I liked the logic, but I always felt at home with colors and design. That’s why I later moved into the world of design — a place where imagination and reality can meet.
I love working with children. Playing with them and seeing their creativity and imagination always gives me energy. I believe children need the chance to explore, create, try ideas, and build new worlds from the things around them.
At ArKoYo, I want to create exactly this kind of environment — full of color, sound, imagination, and joy.
A place where every child feels they can create their own world.
Ensi
I grew up surrounded by my mother’s colors and brushes and my father’s drawings of houses. Maybe that’s why, even as a child, I preferred building small houses out of toys rather than playing with dolls. For me, creating has always been a playful yet meaningful journey.
I believe in children and their journey through life – that we adults can help them discover their talent and find their own path.
In my daily life, I work as an architect and run Bostadslyftet Arkitekter, but as a mother of two children and with several years of experience leading workshops for children of different ages, I know how fun and rewarding it is to follow their development.
Architecture is something I am truly passionate about, and through Arkoyo I want to share that joy and creativity with the next generation.
As John F. Kennedy once said:
“Not all children have the same talent, ability or motivation, but all should have the same right to develop their talent, their ability and their motivation in order to become who they want to be.”
