Interior Design Workshop
We introduced students to the world of interior design through a hands-on creative workshop. Together, we explored how space, color, and materials shape the way we live and feel in different environments. The students worked step by step — from sketching ideas and drawing room layouts to building 3D models using paper, fabrics, and simple materials. They designed rooms for imaginary characters, focusing on comfort, function, and atmosphere. The workshop encouraged collaboration, imagination, and problem-solving while helping students discover the connection between design, geometry, and storytelling in space.

Sustainable Homes Workshop
At Engelska Skolan, students explored the theme “Sustainable Homes” through a creative and practical workshop. Together, we discussed what a home truly needs — water, air, light, warmth, food, and energy — and how these can be managed in sustainable ways.
Inspired by traditional building techniques from around the world, students designed and built their own eco-friendly houses using reused and natural materials. They experimented with ideas such as ventilation, heat retention, daylight, and water management, while reflecting on how design can support both people and the planet.
The workshop encouraged teamwork, sustainability thinking, and hands-on creativity.

Interior Design & Architecture
At Engelska Skolan, students explored interior design through a creative and hands-on workshop.
They designed rooms for imaginary characters — sketching ideas, drawing floor plans, and building 3D models using paper, textures, and colors. The workshop encouraged experimentation, design thinking, and reflection on how spaces affect our feelings, function, and creativity.

Creative Scene Design Workshop
We delivered four Creative Scene Design workshops for approximately 120 Grade 8 students at the International School of the Gothenburg Region.
The workshops were based on theatre, music, and dance. Working in small teams, students developed their own stories and explored how elements of theatre, musical rhythm, and movement could be transformed into shapes, spaces, colors, patterns, and structures.
Using cardboard, paper, fabric, and other simple materials, each team designed and built its own unique 3D scene model. The workshops encouraged creativity, storytelling, teamwork, experimentation, and problem-solving while introducing students to the relationship between performance, movement, sound, and spatial design.
WHAT THE SCHOOL SAYS
